Belvidere to Lake Brenton

This route follows the railway line from the Brenton Road railway crossing at Belvidere to the old Brenton Station near Brenton on Lake. Vegetation on either side of the railway line has been cleared and the trees and vegetation growing between the railway tracks were removed. The uneven surfaces are covered in sand and ‘bridges’ have been built over the erosion washaways.

On the Belvidere side the trail is accessed at the railway crossing. From the Lake Brenton side the trail is accessed from the end of Capt W A Duthie Avenue. Parking is available at the Lake Brenton jetty, which is about 1 km from the start of the trail along a good tarred road. (Capt WA Duthie Avenue)
